We built a robust self-service portal so architects and interior designers could check technical specs, build virtual environments and quote prices visually and independently. The project aimed to simplify navigation of a complex corporate furniture catalog.
HNI Corporation, through its Allsteel brand, needed a product configuration solution for its extensive corporate furniture catalog. Dealers and end customers couldn't easily visualize and configure custom products, resulting in long sales cycles and frequent order errors.
300 Software built an interactive product configurator that allowed dealers and customers to visualize Allsteel furniture in 3D, select customization options (fabric, finish, dimensions), and automatically generate accurate quotes. The system integrated with HNI's ERP for real-time inventory and pricing synchronization.
We focused on usability and data accuracy. We developed a tool that combines advanced visualization with engineering data and real-time pricing, making product specification easier.
The portal helped Allsteel significantly speed up the quoting process and greatly reduced the sales team's workload, putting critical information and decision tools in the hands of partners and architects.
